He told me that he sometimes felt that he should hold back his son for an additional day when he meets him. If he is found guilty the court may even restrict him from meeting his child. Most of the time I am very careful about the amount and kind of food that I eat but there are times that I just eat anything that comes into mind. Just like today, I just had 2 pieces of the pastry that has caramelized sugar in it but I am now devouring a full serving of the stir fried noodles that I made last night. I am eating it cold this time to see if the dish can be served cold. And I realized that it can! And the taste didn't even change a single bit. Yum yum... My friends will kill me if I tell them about it by leaving a message in their Facebook inbox. They would tell me to make some and bring it to the office and won't stop until I do. But I don't want to do that for that will give them an excuse to remind me that I am now ready to get married. Sheesh, I know that they are just trying to make me laugh and their way of telling me how they appreciate my cooking skills but at times, it does make me stop and think about getting into a relationship and make me feel bad for not having one.

On Capturing the Beauty of Nature posted on 9 April 2012 in Recreation and Hobbies Two years ago I purchased a point and shoot camera that had the ability to take both macro (closeup) shots and wide angle. The first time I took my camera with me on a quick nature walk I used both of the features on several shots. When I got home, I immediately uploaded my pictures and was amazed at the difference in the shots, especially macro shots of flowers. The detail and vibrancy of the colors we all sometimes take for granted on a regular basis were hard to miss. I learned quickly that using just a few moments to setup a macro shot that captures the beauty of nature is well worth the time. So much so that it's become my favorite subject. There is nothing more beautiful in my opinion, than to capture a flower's first blooms or petals that are dusted with pollen. Those type of captures give me reason to smile every time I see them. I'm also studying baby photography as my wife is expecting twins!
